Policy Framework

At M D Parmar & Associates, our turnkey interior fitouts and modular furniture systems are custom-engineered, manufactured to bespoke architectural dimensions, and tailored to specific client floor plans. Unlike mass retail stock, every board, veneer sheet, and acoustic panel is cut to order.

This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the financial terms and conditions applicable in the event of project termination or scope revision.

1. Custom Bespoke Manufacturing Notice

Because all modular kitchens, sliding wardrobes, workstations, and fire-rated doors are custom-cut at our Nalasopara factory based on signed 3D drawings:

  • Once raw materials (BWP plywood, laminates, natural veneers, glass panels) have undergone factory CNC cutting, edge banding, or chemical treatment, they cannot be returned or repurposed for other clients.
  • Special-order imported hardware (e.g., specific European motorized fittings) cannot be cancelled once procuring purchase orders are confirmed.

2. Cancellation Phases & Eligibility

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by the primary signatory to info@mdparmar.in:

Stage 3: Factory Production / CNC Cutting
Plywood cut, edge-banded, or post-formed		 Non-Refundable Production milestone non-refundable. Fabricated furniture kits delivered to Client as-is.
Stage 4: Site Installation & Finishing
On-site civil, false ceiling & assembly ongoing		 Non-Refundable Contract non-cancellable. Work completed to date will be audited and settled against dues.

3. Calculation of Deductions & Site Audit

In case of mutual termination of a turnkey contract:

  • A joint on-site physical measurement audit is conducted within 5 working days by our project lead and the client's representative.
  • The audit tallies the actual value of completed civil works, ducting, cabling, and delivered factory furniture against total payments received.
  • Any unutilized balance exceeding completed milestones will be refunded to the client.

4. Mode of Refund Settlement

Approved refund amounts are processed exclusively through verifiable banking channels:

  • Refunds are remitted via NEFT / RTGS / Direct Bank Transfer back to the original bank account from which payments were initiated.
  • Processing timeline is strictly between 7 to 14 business days following completion of the joint site audit and formal termination sign-off.
  • No cash refunds are disbursed under any circumstances in compliance with corporate accounting and anti-money laundering norms.

5. Transit Damage & Defective Items Policy

If any factory-fabricated component arrives damaged during transit from our Nalasopara factory to the client's site:

We do not require contract cancellation. Our QC team issues an immediate factory remake work order to re-fabricate and replace the damaged panel or shutter at zero additional expense to the client within 3–7 business days.
